About the programme
The Diploma in Civil Engineering programme prepares students for careers in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure such as buildings, roads, bridges, and water-supply systems. The curriculum covers building materials and construction, surveying, structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and estimating and costing.
Practical training is delivered through surveying camps, materials-testing laboratories, and computer-aided drafting using AutoCAD. Graduates are equipped to work as site supervisors, draughtspersons, and junior engineers with government departments, construction firms, and consultancy offices, or to progress to a B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
